It is a scalloped black metal / tole tray with gold around the inside rim and depicts a bowl of lemons on a black and white diamond backroik  It was made in England for Ian Logan with the still life by artist Lucy Neil

For consideration is this beautiful tea pot in the Charlotte pattern

The border is gently embossed/raised and has a feathery plume of Victorian scrollwork surround primroses
