English Transferware Black Plate Embossed & Gilded Gilt Border George Jones Scenic Path Through Mountain Village Blue Willow God Speed The PloughStaffordshire Black Transfer Ware Plate George Jones and Sons Rhapsody Circa 1891 1920 This gorgeous plate depicts a gorgeous scene of a rock path bridge that winds through a village nestled against the mountains on either side. The plate has a stunning embossed border of urns and medallions with a gilt acanthus leaf trim. Absolutely gorgeous detail! Some of the prettiest plates I've seen. The company began operation in c. 1864 at Stoke Upon Trent at
